We were brought in to provide animation direction to the live action body horror short film “Doctor, Doctor” directed by Helet Van Staden. The animation utilized real human actors and objects, a technique known as pixilation, and required careful setups to ensure all on the crew could work effectively.

The animation switches between smoother and jerkier movements to bring attention to the stop motion element while providing the necessary surreal effect. Animated using DragonFrame.
